Cedar Creek Lake Report

Water Level: 318.81 (-3.19)

Water Color: Stained

Water Temp: 60 degrees

FISHING REPORT: Crappie are turning back on! As the water temp continues to rise, the bite continues to improve.

If you're wanting to catch spawning crappie, wait no longer.  Our fish are now moving shallow, and we're seeing both quantity and quality.  Emphasis on quality.  What else could we ask for?  The water temperature is creeping towards sixty degrees, which is real good news for anyone interested in filling a cooler with barn doors.  We're finding our fish in water no deeper than 6ft, which means you're likely to get your wrist broke when that angry male crappie tags your jig.  The next few months should be nothing short of exceptional, as we progress through spawn, and then into our well know brush pile pattern.

Went out on a crappie trip and had a great time. My friend fishes very little and I was worried he wouldn't be able to catch anything. They walked him through the moves and coached him along the way.
