Fishing Reports

This has got to be my favorite time of the year, with the weather getting cool and the crappie getting hungry. It wont be long and we will be carving pumpkins and singing carols. Makes me hungry thinking about it. Ha The Crappie down here are already in the holiday giving mood, as we are starting to see some good numbers come in the boat. I had a group of 5 Grand Prairie police officers on wens. morning, and after all was said and done we had 35 keepers and prob 15-20 throwbacks. We shoved off from the dock around 6:45,temp 60, water temp 80, wind light from NE, dang near perfect weather for hunting some crappies. The bite is still very light, more of a touch or a push. Every once in a while you will find a wildman that will thump it. We have been finding fish still hanging 6-12ft. Best colors of jigs has been Slab Bandits (Rivercane) and Thump Jumpers (Highnoon). Minnows have still been putting a few in the boat too. One of the guys caught a monster redear perch. We hired Chuck to fish for hybrids. We were only 1 fish away from limiting out for a 1/2 day booking. Great time on the water. Chuck's worth taking out;he'll put fish in the cooler

Chuck will put you on the fish. Great fun to catch Hybrid Stripers and Crappie. He uses the best equipment and we always catch lots of fish. A great way to spend a half of a day or a whole one

our guide, is a great young man. He made sure my guest, (who struggles casting) caught plenty of fish . I have used them many times and have never been disappointed.

Holland and I just wanted to tell you we had so much fun fishing with you....and it won't be the last time. It was a pleasure to spend the day with you, and get to meet Laurie.

Our guide was absolutely amazing and we had a great time. We are already looking at dates in May to come back for more fun. Hands down a great experience.

Went out on a crappie trip and had a great time. My friend fishes very little and I was worried he wouldn't be able to catch anything. They walked him through the moves and coached him along the way.
