FAQ's and Expectations
Expectations
Before we begin to fish your guide will give some basic instruction on how we will be catching the fish that day. You can use my equipment or yours just please let us know in advance which you prefer. Our guides normally use artificial lures and occasionally will use minnows. Your guide will tie on lures, bait hooks, and take the fish off if you like. Your guide is there to make your fishing trip enjoyable, make memories, and to teach you how to catch more fish. Trips are very informative and loaded with valuable information to make you a better fisherman on your next outing. The half day trip will give us about 4 - 5 hours on the lake and the full day will give us about 8 - 9 hours. Depending on your group size. If your group limits out on one species we can try for another. Most importantly I just want you to have fun and feel comfortable on the boat with your guide. We take out lots of new fisherman that just want to catch fish. If that is you, please let us know so I can concentrate on putting you on some fish instead of spending lots of time teaching. Your guide carries a digital camera and will take pictures throughout the day. This is a free service. We will then post them on www.Bigcrappie.com for you to copy. Give us a call, email or book online anytime.
***Thank you for the opportunity to take you on an exciting fishing adventure. Our goal as your fishing guide & instructor and also as a company is to provide the most enjoyable and fun fishing experience, catching as many fish as the season and mother nature will allow. Please, also keep in mind every angler is unique in their experience and skill level making it impossible for us to guarantee any specific numbers of any species of fish. Although fishing is very exciting and can be rewarding, it can also be challenging to some and also very unpredictable, as all nature can be. This is an outdoor excursion, weather is just part of the excitement.
